Ogre.ai is a global AI start-up revolutionizing the energy industry.

The client

Ogre AI, a global tech start-up led by Matei Stratan a winner of the first prize at the CEE Startup Challenge IX – TOP 10 Companies from Central & Eastern Europe, provides a single platform to optimize energy management for utility companies such as Verbund, Alliander, E.ON, ČEZ and Enel.

Thanks to advanced AI algorithms, their product can conduct real-time data analysis from multiple sources such as weather sensors, or satellite imagery, to prepare actionable insights, and develop optimization strategies to help businesses reduce costs from generation to transport, increase efficiency, and achieve sustainability goals. Touching on sustainability a bit more, Ogre AI has made a sustainable impact by helping to accelerate the energy transition. It does this by increasing savings and investment capabilities across the energy value chain, enhancing the integration and utilization of renewables, reducing green transition costs, lowering CO2eq emissions, making energy more affordable, and improving grid resilience and stability.

The challenge

When Ogre AI first approached us, their identity was vibrant and playful, centered around a cartoon-like robot illustration that felt too youthful for the direction Matei’s business was heading. Additionally, their digital presence lacked depth, offering only a placeholder website with minimal information about the product.

The solution

In collaboration with a brand strategist, we saw the need for a more mature and refined identity to reflect the company’s evolving seriousness. Rather than discarding everything, we selectively refined key elements like the logo and color palette, bringing them in line with the brand’s growth. We also custom-developed a new website and improved the Ogre AI app, building a digital presence that balances professionalism with character.
